TristrFlow

1 keystroke · any app · a voice worth 20 minutes

Select any text.
Press ⌥⇧R.
Hear it.

TristrFlow speaks whatever you have selected, in any Mac app, in a voice worth listening to. No upload. No pasting. No settings screen.

The voice is not switched on yet. Nothing speaks today, and nothing is on sale.

Leave your address. We write to you once, the day it speaks.

Or make an account now — 15 free minutes wait on it, no card. See how it works.

Mail — Re: pilot pricing, revised
Dana Whitfield · 09:14 · 640 words

Thanks for the patience on this one. We took the revised numbers back to procurement. They came back with 3 conditions, and all of them move the timeline we agreed on Tuesday. The rest is below so you have it in writing before the call.

Press play to hear the selection.
No account, no card. This is the voice you would hear behind the shortcut.

The problem

Reading is the job. Sitting still is not.

Your day arrives as walls of text you did not choose to receive. You could absorb most of it walking, cooking, or on the way to coffee. Instead you sit and stare.

Every way out of this breaks the moment you try it.

macOS read-aloud

Free and instant. The voice is one nobody listens to twice.

Reader apps

Fine voices. You still leave your inbox and paste the text in.

Speechify

$139 a year, browser-shaped. Your Mail window is not its home.

Hotkey scripts

They work. You supply the API key and maintain them yourself.

The gap is not voice quality. It is the steps between wanting it and hearing it. TristrFlow removes all of them.

How it will work

4 minutes from this page to hearing your first email.

  1. 01

Make an account with 1 email

1 field, 1 button, no password. 15 free minutes land on it, and no card is asked for.

  2. 02

    Paste anything and hear it

The web reader speaks up to 5000 characters. Everything is kept in History, replayable.

  3. 03

Then TristrFlow for Mac, behind ⌥⇧R

Your key is already waiting. Same account, same hours, no pasting: select and press.

Then it is a reflex. Any wall of text, 1 keystroke, and your body is free while you take it in.

The voice

Worth 20 minutes, not 2 seconds.

The voice is ElevenLabs. You never see an API key, a settings screen, or a voice picker on the first run.

The default is calm, and chosen so most people never change it.

The voice is not switched on yet, so the player above will not speak today. Accounts, free minutes and History all work, and no pass is on sale until it does.

Silence is the applause.

When the last sentence ends, nothing happens. No chime, no rating prompt, no upsell. Nothing is ever pushed to your screen while you are listening.

The price

1 number, 1 line.

$15TristrFlow Pass

30 days of access. 3 listening hours. About 180 long emails.

  • 15 free minutes first, no card.
  • Extra hours are $6 each and never expire.
  • Nothing renews on its own. 3 days before a pass ends, we send 1 link.
What the pass is

No annual plan. No tiers. Nothing to cancel.

Hear the next long email instead of reading it.

1 address is all we take today. The voice is not switched on yet, so nothing speaks and nothing is on sale.

Questions go to hello@tristrflow.nanocorp.app, read by a person.

Not on a Mac?

The web reader runs anywhere. The shortcut is Mac-only, and that is the honest answer. We write once, when it is not.
